Michael L. Melton

Michael Lynn Melton of Flower Mound, Texas, came to rest on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the age of 63 surrounded by his family in the comfort of his own home.

Mike was born on May 21, 1960, in Dallas, Texas to Malcolm Lynn Melton and Charlotte Louise Melton (Edwards).  He attended some college after graduating high school. He worked for Johnson Control until 1983.  On June 15, 1985, Mike married his loving wife, Margaret in Lewisville, Texas.  They were married for 38 wonderful years.  Mike owned Pro-Tech Service Co. with his business partner Ralph Nasca from 1984 until 2023 and they were very successful.  Mike was amazing, he enjoyed racing, spending time with his family and friends, fixing up his old trucks with family and driving around in his corvettes.  He was a mentor to many and always willing to help.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Lynn Melton and Charlotte Louise Melton (Edwards).

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Melton; son, Justin and his wife Gabbi Melton and their son Coleten; daughter, Michelle and her husband Chase Parson; Barbara and Dulane Wellborn, Weldon, Dan and Tresa, Barbara Berendzen, Debra, Patricia, Carrie and their families along with numerous loving friends.
