Sending warm hugs and love to Belinda, Cassie, Trina and all the Meier family. Mike is going to be so missed. He was my cousin by blood but my big brother in my heart. His laugh his joy of life. He was one of my favorite people. Reminded me so much of my dad. Mike used to take me fishing when I was a kid and baited my hook I rowed the boat. He teased me like crazy but I took that as a sign he liked me. I will miss you dear cousin. I hope the fishing is good in Heaven say hi to my parents for me. They will be happy but sad at the same time to see you. Love you cuz

Mike was my best friend as both of us grew up on farms in rural Indiana in Rock Creek Township about a mile from each other. We went to Rock Creek High School. We hunted rabbits, squirrels, and mushrooms together. He had a Honda 150 motorcycle and I rode a 1947 Harley Davidson. Many fond memories of riding together. During our junior year of high school, I extended to him the opportunity of "double-dating." Without going into details, had he not accepted, I would not have met my wife, with whom we will be celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary this year.
Our deepest sympathies and condolences are extended to Belinda and her family.
