Cone Funeral HomeMichael "Mike" Mills, a cherished member of the Bowling Green community, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, in Clarksville, TN. Born on July 8, 1949, in Bowling Green, Mike lived a life marked by his unwavering love for family and a commitment to his values as a proud Marine Combat Veteran of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Division.
Mike's legacy is deeply rooted in his role as a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his son, Tim Mills, and his daughter, Cheryl Harris. In addition to his children, Mike also leaves behind his adored grandchildren, Aaron Mills, April (Tyler) Sigmun, and Alicia Harris, alongside his precious great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Jackson Sigmun.
He is also remembered fondly by his siblings: Barbara (Joe) Russell, Roger (Lisa) Mills, Kim Morris, and Patricia Lamastus. Together, they carry on the memory of a man who exemplified love, warmth, and a generous spirit.
In 1971, Mike embarked on a journey of love and companionship when he married Eula Mills, with whom he shared a profound bond for 48 years until her passing. His dedication to family and friends was evident as he embraced his roles not only as a husband and father but also as a confidant and supporter.
Outside of his family life, Mike was known as an enthusiastic tradesman, hunter, fisherman, and a devoted follower of Christ. He shared many joyous moments in the fields and waters, often accompanied by friends who marveled at his skill and passion for firearms.
The visitation for Michael Mills will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Cone Funeral Home, located at 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104. A burial service will follow on Monday, December 1, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM at Fairview Avenue, 1209 Fairview Ave., Bowling Green, KY 42103.
Michael Mills will be remembered not just for his accomplishments, but for the love he so freely gave to all those around him. His spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends who were privileged to know him.
