Michael Mindel Obituary
He was a graduate of Seneca High School and the University of Louisville Speed School of Engineering. He worked as a chemical engineer for 45 years. Mike was also an avid nature photographer and a lifelong, devoted fan of the University of Louisville Cardinals.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather; and his father-in-law, Charles Jack Boeschel.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jackie Boeschel Mindel; sons, Christopher Michael Mindel and Thomas Andrew Mindel (Michelle); mother-in-law, Betty Boeschel; brothers-in-law, Robert Boeschel (Becky) and Alan Boeschel (Sandra); niece, Caitlin Boeschel; and nephew, Jacob Boeschel (Emily).
Visitation will be 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 12th, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. His funeral service will be Friday, June 13th, 11:00 am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway.
