Michael Perry Mitchell, known to those who loved him simply as Perry, passed away at his home in Carrollton, Georgia on May 24, 2025, at the age of 36. Born on March 11, 1989, in Marietta to Tom and Lisa Mitchell, Perry was a precocious and spirited child, always full of life. From a young age, he had a deep love for the outdoors and found peace and joy in nature. He attended South Cobb High School and later earned his GED, a testament to his determination and strength of character. Perry was a hard worker, known for his willingness to lend a helping hand and his generous, loyal spirit. Creative and full of big ideas, he had a passion for writing, especially poetry, which allowed him to express his deepest thoughts and emotions. He was a man of Christian faith, and his life reflected the values of kindness, love, and devotion. Above all, Perry was a deeply loving son, brother, and father. He cherished his family, especially his mother and sister, and held a special place in his heart for his beloved son, Cameron Mitchell. Perry’s presence, his laughter, and his big heart will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother and step father Lisa and (Heath) Mitchell, his sisters Lida Griffin, Brooke Mitchell, Charlie Mitchell, brother Blake Mitchell, nephews Will Griffin, Waylon Jenkins, Wyatt Jenkins, Carson Tolbert, Westin VanLeeuwen, Bentley Elrod, Asa Mitchell and nieces Jordyn Tolbert, Lilly Tolbert, Charlee Tolbert and Tinlie Mitchell. Also Jada, Alexis, Miracle, Shaylyn, Dominick and Donovan Brooks. He is preceded in death by his dad Thomas Edward Mitchell Jr., paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents and his Uncle Row.
