Michael E. Molzof, 74, died on Thursday, July24, 2025, at William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital, Madison. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, August 4, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery, Platteville, where military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post #24 and VFW Post #2474, Platteville. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family. Online condolences can be made at www.melbyfh.com. Michael was born on October 4, 1950, in Platteville, Wisconsin, the son of Harry and Madelyn (Kase) Molzof. He was united in marriage to Eileen Ann Williams on July 9, 1988, at the United Methodist Church, Platteville. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2025. He served in the United States Army in the early 70's in Vietnam and from 1990 to 1991 was in the Gulf War as a member of the National Guard. Mike worked for many years at Faherty's Inc., Platteville. Other jobs he did were heavy equipment operator, and worked for the VA. He was a member of the American Legion. Mike was a humble man, always smiling, enjoying a good conversation and being devoted to his wife, Eileen. Mike is survived by his children, DeeDee (Dean) Turner, Penny (Avery) Bloedow, Kenny Hardy, Cathy (Jason) Richardson, and Ralph (Amy) Carley; eleven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eileen, daughter, Terri Hardy and his parents.
