Archie L. Molzof

Archie L. Molzof, age 90, of Dubuque, passed away at home, on Monday October 9, 2023, at 11:37a.m. surrounded by his loving family. To honor Archie's life, a private family gathering will take place at a later date. Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, is assisting Archie's family.
Archie was born on June 15, 1933, west of Livingston in Clifton Township, WI, son of Martin and Orphia (Watchorn) Molzof.
He attended school in Wisconsin and moved to Dubuque when he began working for the Dubuque Packing Company. He met his future wife, Helen Engling, in Dubuque and they were married on October 20, 1956 in Galena, IL.
Archie worked for the Pack and FDL until it closed and then helped Helen making and selling her crafts to support their 9 growing children.
He was a very faith-filled man and attended Saturday mass at Sacred Heart every week and regularly prayed the rosary.
Archie enjoyed spending time working on his yard and in the garden. He had a great sense of humor and usually had an answer for everything, whether he was right or not. Archie was a great husband and a loving father to his children and grandchildren. He was very generous with his time and would help anyone in need.
Archie was an avid Minnesota Vikings and New York Mets fan his entire life.

Archie was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jeffrey Molzof; a granddaughter, Megan Molzof; a son-in-law, Jeffery Voseberg; 2 brothers, Earl and Francis Molzof; and a brother-in-law, Richard Byrnes.
