Michael Andrew "Mike" Moore

Michael Andrew "Mike" Moore, 57, of Cedar Park, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 13th, 2024 at Precisive Care Assisted Living in Pearland, Texas. He was born on September 15th, 1966 in El Paso, Texas to James Arthur Moore and Patricia Anne O'Connell Moore. Mike is survived by his daughters Kara and Amber Moore; his parents Pat & Mike Fowler and Jim & Alicia Moore; his brother Chuck & wife Mary; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and coworkers who adored him.
Mike was a military brat and traveled widely with his family; living in West Germany twice; Brooklyn, New York; Fayetteville, North Carolina; Augusta, Georgia; Tombstone, Arizona; Monterey, California; and finally Killeen, Texas in 1981. Mike graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 1984. In 1992 he became a licensed Airframe and Powerplant mechanic and worked for Conquest Airlines in Austin. After pursuing that career for several years Mike discovered his true passion and became a licensed RN in May of 1999. Mike was highly regarded and liked by his coworkers. He could work from the ER to the ICU, and all the departments in between. Mike also spent time teaching ACLS classes. He was a great mentor and precepted many nurses over the years. Mike truly loved being a nurse and helping people for over 25 years.
Mike loved fishing and boating and spent many weekends pursuing that. He enjoyed his
daughters' sports immensely. He was a "cheer" dad for many years. He also coached his
daughters' basketball teams. He would fondly share stories about his daughters at the drop of a hat. He was truly so proud of them and loved them deeply. Mike also loved country music and attending concerts, as well as being a huge Cowboys fan.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at 2 pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E Medical Center Blvd, Webster, Texas, 77598. Immediately following the funeral service there will be a celebration of his life at Chelsea Wine Bar on NASA Parkway in El Lago, TX.
