Michael Moore Obituary
He was the loving husband of Andrea J. (Wardenski) Moore, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.
Born January 28, 1945, in Louisville, KY, he was a son of the late Harvey Robert and L.G. Cecilia (Drummond) Moore.
Michael was the owner and operator of Shamrock Farms, Oley since 1976 and Shamrock Storage, Alsace Township since 1990.
He was a member of the Alsace Township Planning Commission from 1996-2012, serving as its chairman from 2006-2012.
Michael was past president of Eastern Pennsylvania Pork Producers, a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, St. Brenden's Division, a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, vice-chairman of the Alsace Township Zoning Hearing Board, and a past member of the Chevy Club of Eastern Pennsylvania.
Some of his favorite pastimes were restoring old cars and racing cars, target shooting and reloading ammunition, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his two children: Kimberly Jo (Moore), wife of Walter W. "Will" Eck, III. of Atlanta, GA and Zachary M., husband of Lindsay (Cook) Moore of Alsace Township.
Other survivors include his four grandchildren: Stacia Musser of Alsace Township; Beckham Moore of Alsace Township; Pierson Moore of Alsace Township; Josephine Eck of Atlanta, GA; and Maxwell Eck of Atlanta, GA.
He is also survived by four siblings: Mary Lesher; Catherine, wife of David Hoffmaster; John W. Moore, and Patricia, wife of Stephen Correll; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his brother, James E. Moore in 1977, Martin R. Moore in 2020, Jane Martin in 2024.
A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Stitzel Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 423 Main Street, Oley. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Muhlenberg Township.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Catharine of Siena R.C. Church, 4975 Boyertown Pike, Reading, PA 19606.

Mike and I were classmates in the Oley Class of 1962. He always had a smile and a kind word no matter what. I will miss seeing him at our class reunions.
