Michael Moretti Obituary
Michael C. Moretti, Jr., age 88 passed away August 31st after a lengthy illness.
Born October 8, 1935, in Greenwich to Philomena (Ferraro) Moretti and Michael C. Moretti, Sr., Mike was a Greenwich High School graduate and later went on to become an electrician; working on the many large office complexes and buildings that make up the landscape of lower Fairfield and Westchester counties.
An avid golfer, Mike enjoyed playing the hometown course "The Griff" as well as the course at his winter home in Naples, Florida.
Mike is survived by his wife of 66 years, Kathleen, son Patrick and daughter-in-law Deborah, granddaughters Amy O'Keefe and Alison Moretti, sister Patricia Kreuter, a daughter, several nieces and nephews and many cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Michael, his parents and sister Rosemarie Fox.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Bridges Memory Care Facility staff in Norwalk for their care and support over the past several years.
A wake will be held Thursday, September 5th, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3 in Greenwich. The funeral mass will be Friday, September 6th, 10 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Avenue, Riverside, CT.

I spoke with Mike many times at St Mary's cemetery after my son Stephen passed. He was suppurative at a time I was lost and confused, his talk and compassion I'm so grateful for. R.I.P.
