Michael Moyer Obituary
He was born to Cecil Waldean and Armista Lucille Moyer on June 8, 1950 at Superior, Nebraska. Mike grew up near Hiawatha where he attended school, graduating from Hiawatha High School with the class of 1969.
He is survived by three children Coleen and Eddie Kidd, Cody and Jenny Moyer, Jessica Moyer and Jermaine Stillman and several grandchildren. He is also survived by four brothers Ronald Moyer, Paul and JoAnne Moyer, Charles Moyer, Marion and Karma Moyer and one sister Wanda Moyer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Cecil R Moyer, and sister in law Paula Moyer.
Michael had a talent of being able to make people laugh and took joy in bringing a smile to a strangers face. He was gifted with the ability to create beautiful flower arrangements during his time working at Hiawatha Greenhouse. Michael will be missed by his family and friends.
A service to honor Michael will be held at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2025, where family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. to visit, to go in procession to Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha for graveside services at 11. Pastor Rich Lehmkuhl will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left at the funeral home to help with funeral expenses, 124 S 7th St., 66434.
