Freiermuth. Cherished grandfather of Christel Carroll and her husband, Blair. Loving great-grandfather of Austin and Madeline Carroll. Proud Vietnam U.S. Army Veteran. Recipient of two Bronze Stars, Top Military Merit, and retired NYC Firefighter. Memorial Service Monday, October 21, at Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes Inc., 3640 Route 112 (2.5 miles north exit 64), from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Closing Prayer 12:00 p.m. Committal following at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Michael was strong with a heart of gold and will be fondly remembered.
