It is with overwhelming sadness that we announce on May 2nd, 2025, Michael Thomas Mullins (Papa), 67, lost his long and arduous battle with cancer at home surrounded by his loved ones. Mike was, as he would say, a "Truly Blessed Man" to have so many wonderful people in his family. Mike loved to be creative, always sculpting, building, fixing, and molding just about anything he saw potential in. His unique view of life and all of its mysteries and complexities inspired others. Mike was never one to shy away from telling a joke or an interesting fact. His pride and joy was his family: his wife, kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His wife, Ann Mullins (Quintano), has been the love of his life for 51 joyous years-truly his angel and forever best friend, always at his side.
He is survived by his two daughters, Anna Morrison (Dan) and Christina Golenberke (Mike), and his son Michael Mullins Jr., along with 8 grandchildren-Matthew (Laney), Max, Drake (Sabrina), Devin (Stacy), Nevaeh (Adria), Alex, Leia and Kylie-and 6 great grandchildren-Remy, Wesson, Serenity, Grace, Hope and Joy-as well as a great number of family and friends that will remember him fondly and miss him dearly.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents Patricia and Thomas Mullins, as well as his 4 older siblings and beloved in-laws: Anna, Albert and Charlie Quintano, and Paula and Ken Carson.
The family wishes to thank McLaren Hospice for the quality of care and friendships made.
The family will hold a celebration of life on May 18th, 2025 from 2-6pm at the Lexington Lions Hall - 6964 Huron Ave., Lexington.
Jowett Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Mullins Family.
