Michael “Mike” Murray of Hyattsville, MD, joined his parents Franny and Eileen Murray, his brother Marty and sister Nancy (Gary) Schenck in heaven, after a difficult battle with Alzheimer’s. He will forever be remembered for his dedication to St. Jerome’s Catholic School where he spent his life serving others. He is survived by his siblings Frances, Paul (Kathy), Andrew, Elizabeth (Joseph) Mallon, and Lianne (Patrick) Mutchler; nieces and nephews Jennifer (Scott) Simons, Ashton Mallon, Bobby and Sarah Mutchler, Kevin and Daniel Schenck, and Kyle Murray; and great niece and nephew Harper and Chase Simons. A visitation will be held at St. Jerome's Catholic Church 5205 43rd Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781 Thursday May 11, 2023 at 10am followed by a Mass at 11am. The interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906 immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers please make a tribute gift to the men's soccer team at The Catholic University of America in Mike's honor at.
