Michael Bruce "Mike" Myrick

New Albany-Michael Bruce Myrick, 72, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. He was born December 23, 1951 to Monroe and Melvie Nubbie Myrick in Union County. He worked for Brookwood Furniture until his retirement. Mr. Myrick was a great man. He loved his Lord, and his family above all else. He had a gentle and caring nature and enjoyed being around people. He was an avid fisherman, who spent as much time as he could being outdoors. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a member of Martin Baptist Church.
Services to celebrate his life will be on Saturday, April 13, 2024 starting at 11:00am with Bro. Jeff Taylor and Bro. Tim McMillen officiating. A visitation will be on Friday April 12 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Both will be at United Funeral Service. Burial will be at Martin Cemetery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52years, Margaret Stanford Myrick, two sons, Michael Shane, and Jason Scott Myrick, four sisters, Judy Gresham (Mike), Peggy McKinzie, Mona Finn (Mike) and Wanda Hill, one brother, Tommy Myrick, and two grandsons, John Cason and Kevin Thomas Myrick.
