Michael Nix Obituary
Michael L. Nix, aged 71, passed away at his home on Thursday, April 10, 2025. Born on October 2, 1953, Michael lived a life filled with passion for the outdoors and devotion to his family.
Michael was known for his love of turkey and deer hunting, as well as spending many hours fishing and tending to his yard.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Nix of Pelzer, his son Jeffrey Nix of Pelzer, and his grandchildren Megan, Haley, and Emily Parson. He is also survived by his brother Ronald Nix of Easley and his best friend Bob Overstreet, with whom he shared countless memories.
Michael is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl Nix, and his parents, Ernest and Eunice Nix.
A funeral service in memory of Michael will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 2:00PM at West End Baptist Church, located at 120 Mission Dr, Easley, SC 29642. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery, 856 W. Main Street, Central, SC 29630.
