Funeral services for Mr. Michael O'Quinn, of Winnsboro, will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 10:30AM, at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Basco officiating. Interment will directly follow under the direction of Young's Community Memorial, Winnsboro. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 9:00AM until time of service at the funeral home.
Michael was born October 30, 1946, in Bossier City, LA and passed from this life on July 10, 2025, at his home in Winnsboro, LA.
Michael was a Navy Veteran and loved to reminisce about all the places he visited and different foods he ate while serving this country he loved so much. He also loved his shoot 'em up, bang, bang, westerns. He was a happy person who loved life and loved to laugh. You couldn't be around him for long and you were laughing too.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Zelma Duncan and stepfather, Louis Ezernack.
Those left to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Glenda Stephens and her daughter Beth Stephens; cousin, Ann Duncan; and uncle, Carnis Gould; he is also survived by his extended family and many friends.

I moved across the street from Michael on the 17th. of June 1955. I am proud to say he has been my friend for 70 years. We talked often, and I will miss hearing his voice. Goodbye my friend.
