Michael Frank Osborne

Graveside services for Michael Frank Osborne will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Drummond Cemetery in New Hebron. Mr. Daryl Craig will officiate. Mr. Osborne passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Friends are invited to gather at the cemetery on Wednesday, beginning at 11:30 am.

Mike was born on October 7, 1951, in Ft. Hood, Texas to Thomas and Jackie Baldwin Osborne. He worked several years at Deposit Guaranty Bank, where his skills built lasting connections. He later became a driver at Crossgates Florist in Brandon, a role that brought him immense joy through his interactions with customers during their happy occasions. Michael's career culminated in his retirement from ERMC Security, where he provided security for the Dogwood Mall in Flowood, ensuring a safe environment for all who visited. 

Mike had a multitude of hobbies that reflected his diverse interests. He found solace in reading the Bible and studying history, especially Bible history.  He enjoyed activities with his family, including going on nature walks, watching movies, fishing, and playing chess. He was also an avid coin and stamp collector. Another of Mike’s passions was his appreciation for classic cars and attending classic car shows. Mr. Osborne was a member of the Intercontinental Church of God where a served as a deacon since 1996 .

Mr. Osborne is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jackie Baldwin Osborne.

Mike will be remembered as a loving  husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Butler Osborne; his daughter, Rebekah Wilhelm; his son, James L. Osborne, all of Brandon; and his brother, George Osborne of Nebraska. Mr. Osborne also leaves behind his grandson, Andrew Wilhelm.
