His Legacy Michael Patrick Norman, 56, passed away November 17, 2021. He was born on August 20, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan to Carl Norman and Joan (Weigand) Norman. Mike married the love of his life, Gerri Murawski, on July 23, 1994, in Lincoln Park. They shared 33 wonderful years together, 27 of them married. Mike loved all sports, and played both football and baseball, and coached his boys growing up. He also loved playing golf, poker, and Texas Hold Em with the guys on Friday nights. His family have many memories of his love for Sunday grilling and feeding whoever showed up. Mike especially loved boating and the sunsets on Bass Lake. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Mike will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, and friend.
His Family Mike will be missed by his wife Gerri; his children, Matthew Norman and Nicholas Norman; and brother, David (Stephanie) Norman. He is preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth and his parents, Carl and Joan Norman.
His Farewell Mike's family and friends will gather Sunday November 21, 2021 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm, until the time of service at 5:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family for future designation.
