My brother Karl & I spent the day with Mike at Howell Gun Club exactly one week before his death. We worked on
some electrical upgrades on the new 500 yd. Rifle range. We learned a lot about him during our short time together. He was very helpful and generous and he conducted the club general membership meeting at the nearby Marion Twp hall the week before following Robert's Rules of Order which I respect. We have one more volunteer electrical project to complete next week and we'll be thinking of Mike all the while we're working. Michael grew the club to over 2000 members, which in today's woke culture is an amazing feat. We miss him already!
