Michael Allen Perkins

Michael Allen Perkins 61, of Nicholasville passed away unexpectedly on Sunday July 27th, 2025 at his home. Michael was the son of the late Ralph Sr. and Ronnie Perkins. He was proceeded in death by his parents, a daughter---Clarissa Perkins, two brothers---Freddie and Ralph Perkins, Jr, and a sister Michelle Bowman. Michael was survived by the love of his life Jennifer McElfresh, a son Jeremy Perkins (Ashley) and his grandsons----Clayton, Hunter and Liam as well as his siblings Martin (Georgia), John (Brandy) and Stacy (Mark). He was an uncle to ten, great uncle to fifteen and great-great uncle to two. Michael worked many jobs in his lifetime because he was such a hard worker however, the job he was most proud of was his (18) years as a deputy jailer at the Jessamine County Detention Center where he retired as sergeant. His visitation will be Thursday, July 31, 2025 from 4:00PM to 7:30PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home at which time a Remembrance service will be held.
