Jeffrey Nelson, 18, of Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Jeffrey was born on January 24, 2008, in Lexington, Kentucky, and was primarily a lifelong resident of Nicholasville, Kentucky. In his 18 years, he filled the lives of his family and friends with laughter, stubborn determination, and a smile that showed up even on the hardest days. Jeffrey loved his mom and dad deeply, and he loved video games, Ale-8, being with his sisters, Journie and Jasmine, who were not just his siblings but also his closest friends, and how much he loved having a job and being able to buy things for himself and his family.
Jeffrey is survived by his father, Harrison Nelson; his mother, Megan Mastin; his sisters, Journie Nelson and Jasmine Nelson; as well as extended family and friends who loved him deeply.
Visitation for Jeffrey will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00PM at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home. The burial will follow at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens at 2:00PM, Harrodsburg Road, Nicholasville, Ky.
Though his time here was far too short, Jeffrey’s love, humor, and spirit will remain with his family forever. This obituary was lovingly submitted by the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Hager and Cundiff Funeral Home, and we would like to express our deepest sympathy to the Nelson family and friends. “Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories. “
