To the Picarello extended family:

Please accept my, and the 1st Marine Division Association - Boston Chapter -
deepest condolences for your loss.

Mike was not only a brother Marine, he was a good friend. Be assured, Mike's passing is a source of great sorrow to all of his brother Marines, and he is in our prayers.

I found out about his passing today, Wednesday, and was unable to attend his
memorial service.

Semper Fi Mike, See you at that Heavenly formation; we will all be present and accounted for.

Mike will be missed especially at Jimmy Diner on Broad Street in Weymouth.

My wife and I saw Mike most mornings having breakfast. He always tipped his hat to my wife and shook my hand. What a bright and shining Marine and Served His Country with HONOR.

God Bless You Mike and we will miss you.

i met mike on a trip to boston. we met at a restaurant in newton and we ended up singing old pop songs together that mike had learned when he was stationed in japan. he was always gracious and kind and i particularly remember we both shared a passion for eating fresh fish. he had a long and eventful life and i'm sorry he suffered so much ill-health in his later years. his spirit will be happy that he rests next to his parents in everett. i am the significant other of phyllis picarello's,
(mike's deceased wife) nephew peter, that is how i met mike.
