Michael A. Pineau, Jr.

Michael A. Pineau, Jr., age 32 of Kalamazoo, died unexpectedly at home on October 21, 2024. He was born on July 11, 1992, in Kalamazoo, the son of Michael A. and Kelley (Schroeder) Pineau. Michael was a 2011 graduate of Mattawan High School and attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College. For 10 years, he worked for Flowserve in Kalamazoo. He had been working independently doing IT work. Michael enjoyed the outdoors where he liked golfing, hunting, and fishing with his dad. He loved to travel with family and friends, especially to sporting events like hockey, football, and mostly NASCAR races. 

His family includes his parents, Michael and Kelley Pineau; his sister, Megan (Ted) Miller; his niece, Remi Miller; his grandparents: Shirley (Dale) Hays and Barbara Pineau; his aunts and uncles: Kerry (Mike) Brueck, Robyn Burke, Tracey Pineau, Brant (Amy) Pineau, Roger Pineau, and Sherri (Larry) Dehart; his best friends: Adam Wells, Corey McKague, and Scott McMahon; and many cousins, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Donald Pineau and Frederick Schroeder. 

Friends may gather with Michael’s family on Sunday, October 27th, from 2:00-5:00 PM, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Westside Location, 3926 S. 9th Street, Kalamazoo.
