Michael Poole Obituary
Michael Ray Poole, 68, of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025 at CAMC Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill.
Born October 17, 1957 in Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Iris Lee Cox Poole Fortner.
Michael worked in construction and in his leisure he enjoyed shooting pool. Michael was a gentle man who loved giving to others. He was very strong in his faith a Godly man and wanted to give to others even if it was the shirt off his back. He loved helping kids and being around animals. He especially loved being surrounded by his family. His heart ached when his son, Brian Michael Poole passed and he longed to be with him in Heaven.
Along with his mother he is also preceded in death by his loving son whom he adored, Brian Michael Poole.
Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his companion, Kiersta Rhodes; sisters, Cheryl Moss, Dori Poole; and Vickie Cousens; brother, Loren Cox (Anita) and Charles Poole; grandchildren, Aiden Poole, Eli Poole, and Coraline Poole; and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Mr. Michael Poole's wishes he will be cremated and a celebration of life visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
In lieu of flowers those considering a expression of sympathy donations may be made to help defray unexpected funeral arrangements to Tyree Funeral Home 999 Jones Avenue Oak hill WV, 25901.
