Michael Scott Povlich, born on October 3, 1961, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, passed away on October 23, 2025, in Taylor, Michigan, at the age of 64.

Throughout his life, Michael enjoyed the culinary arts, working as a chef for over 30 years. He took great pride in his work, bringing joy to his family and friends with his culinary creations.

Michael had a deep appreciation for music and history, often spending his free time exploring these interests. His passion for football was well-known among family and friends, and he could often be found rooting for his favorite teams. He also held a special fondness for NASCAR, which brought him countless hours of enjoyment.

An enthusiast of aviation, Michael loved airplanes and frequently attended air shows. These events were a source of inspiration and wonder for him.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Povlich, mother, Doris Povlich, and later loved by his step mother Betty, as well as his brothers, Richard, Greg, and David. He is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Povlich, and their three sons, James, Kyle, and Robert, who will forever cherish his memory.
