Michael A. "Mickey" Reed Michael A. "Mickey" Reed, 67, of Sissonville, passed away at home December 23, 2013. Mick was a funny, loving and generous man. He had a love for all children. He will be sadly missed by his loved ones and his dog. Mick is survived by his children, Michael Reed of Alum Creek, Becky Martin Reed of Hamlin, Kathy Pauley of South Charleston and Frank Barker of Sumerco; grandchildren, Chelsea and Jesse Pauley; friend and mother of his children, Jenny Barker Holstein; sisters, Myrtle Wolfe and Bonnie Good both of Sissonville, sisters-in-law, Debbie, Norma and Emily Reed all of Sissonville; several nieces and nephews; and niece with whom he had a special bond, Janice Cottrell. She was a friend and caretaker which he greatly appreciated. Funeral service will be Friday, December 27, 2013 (TODAY) at 1:00 PM at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor George Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Reed Cemetery, Second Creek, Sissonville. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
