Michael Riebl Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St. on Dec. 23, 2025.
Michael "Mike" Riebl, 61, of Columbus, IN, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025.
Mike was born on January 30, 1964, to Kurt and Christine Riebl in Hof, Germany. He was the fourth of six children. After completing his German military service and technical schooling, Mike was given the opportunity to work in the United States. After moving to the U.S., he met his wife, Tammy, and together they started a family.
Mike was a German paratrooper, husband, father, grandfather, entrepreneur, mountain climber, and woodworker. He was a founding member of Tsune America and grew the company to great success. When Mike was not growing his company, he enjoyed traveling the world, climbing mountains, spending time outdoors, being with his family, and timber framing with the Brown County Woodworkers. Above all, Mike was a Christian man who showed his love for Christ by helping others and dedicating his life to his family and those around him.
Mike is survived by his wife, Tammy Riebl; his children, Hunter Riebl, Sophia Burchfield, Nikki Maddox, Amber Phelps, and Michael Carrigg, along with their spouses; as well as 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 5 siblings.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2025, at Westside Community Church (124 Tipton Lakes Blvd, Columbus, IN 47201) with Pastor Robert Vester officiating.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. to time of service Saturday, January 3, 2025 at the church.
Private family graveside service will be held following the service.
