Michael Joseph Riley, 66, of Columbus OH, passed away Thursday, February 9th, 2023 surrounded by loved ones in Mount Vernon OH.
Michael was born May 26th, 1956, in Columbus OH to Robert and Patricia (McEneany) Riley.
After he graduated from St Francis Desales in the top 3rd of his class, Michael worked as a machine operator at Air Waves Inc for 20 years. He raised two children pouring his life into them. He was a member of St Matthias Catholic Church. Music was his life, and he was a HiFi (High Fidelity) expert filling his home with speakers and equipment. Grandchildren were his world; he was deeply interested in what they did and the stories they told. He loved sports especially Ohio teams of every kind. He enjoyed spending time and caring for his parents. He loved to play softball with his Dad. He loved to share stories of those glory days playing ball.
Michael will be deeply missed by his children Justin Riley and Kelli (Scott) Hall, four grandchildren, Devin, Ella, Cody, and Alla. His brothers Patrick (Sherry) Riley, Robert Riley, sister Colleen Riley, niece Karen Riley and many other friends and family.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, sister Kathy (Kathleen) Riley and granddaughter Trinity Riley.
His Funeral services will be Wednesday February 15, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com
