Michael E. Ruel

Michael E. Ruel, 75, of Manchester, passed away on January 9, 2024 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a brief illness. He was born on January 24, 1948 the son of the late Joseph A. and Ruth (Rogers) Ruel. He grew up and resided in the Shelburne/Gorham area before relocating to Manchester. Mike drove a truck for many years before retiring in 2014. In his earlier years, you might have seen him working in the kitchen at his family's restaurant, Ruel's, or perhaps he poured you a drink while bartending at the American Legion in Gorham. He enjoyed camping, fishing, family and all things sports related. He may not remember what he ate for breakfast, but he could tell you who coached the Bruins in 1974 or who played in the Super Bowl in 1996.
