Michael Lynn Sanders, 83, of Carmel, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Carmel Health & Living. He was born on April 23, 1942 to Robert and Helen (Morris) Sanders in New Castle, Indiana.
Michael proudly served his country in the United States Army and worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Hamilton County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and gambling. Michael enjoyed his life.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Tina Sanders; son, Michael (Latonya) Sanders, Jr.; step-son, Steven Smith; brother, Donald Sanders; sister-in-law, Jackie Schoolcraft; brothers-in-law, John C. Harville, Edward Harville, James Harville, and David Harville; and 3 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his son, James Sanders; and his sister, Karen Elder.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, with services at 12:00 pm, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Fishers.
