Harriet Guilkey Teboe Wise, 99, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. She was born on June 17, 1926 to Arza and Orpha (Garverick) Guilkey, the 6th of 9 children.

Harriet spent her first 8 years of school in a one-room schoolhouse. While growing up, she was involved in Rural Youth, a Junior Leader in 4-H, and a majorette at Noblesville High School. She graduated in 1944.

After graduation, Harriet began her working career at Barker Implement in Noblesville. She rode her bicycle to work. Harriet was the Noblesville City Clerk Treasurer from 1955-1959. She worked at Second Ward Elementary as a secretary to Everett Latham and was there until the school closed in 1968. In 1969, Harriet became a secretary for the Hamilton County Highway Department and remained there until 1980.

Harriet was a member of the Eastern Star and had served as Worthy Matron. She was also a member of Profit & Pleasure Extension Homemakers, Senior Citizens Organization, and First Friends Church in Noblesville. Harriet was Alumnus of the Year at the Noblesville High School Alumni Banquet in 2018.

Harriet was married to Harold Teboe in 1948 until his passing in 1998. She married Phil Wise in 2002, and he passed away in 2020. Besides her parents, Harriet was preceded in death by brothers, Carrol, Roland, Dallas and Max; and sisters, Phyllis Mendenhall, Pat Paskins, and Ruth Stoops.

Harriet is survived by her stepson, Brian (Jeanne) Wise; stepdaughter, Ann (Mark) DiJulio; step-grandchildren, Christie (Brian) Congdon, Julie Morton, Doug DiJulio, and Cara DiJulio; 4 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara (Richard) Lawson; as well as several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with funeral services at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
