Jan Franklin Wise, 86, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026.
Born February 12th 1940, Jan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose life was centered on his family. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Ann Wise, and his eldest son, Brian Scott Wise. Their memories remained close to his heart throughout his life.
He is survived by his sons, Gregory Wise and Michael Wise; his cherished grandchildren, Christina, Justine, Licia, and Christopher; and his three great grandchildren.
Jan will be remembered for his strength, dedication to his family, and the love he shared so generously with those around him. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the many lives he touched.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
No services are planned at this time as Jan chose to donate his body to science to further educational research.
