Danny Robert Ortiz, 53, of Violet Hill, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Cherokee Village, Arkansas.
He was born on December 21, 1972, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Julian Ortiz and Gail McKillip. Danny enjoyed cooking, Star Wars, wrestling, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. He had two sons, Jaden and Tyler who he taught how to be men. Danny was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents Julian Ortiz and wife Dee and Gail McKillip; sons Jaden Ortiz and Tyler Ortiz both of Muscatine, Iowa; brother Jason Ortiz (Amanda) of Fruitland, Iowa; sister Brandy Turner (Josh) of Denver, Colorado and significant other Samantha Dennison of Violet Hill, Arkansas.
