Michael Sandoval Obituary

Visit the French Funerals & Cremations - University & Lomas website to view the full obituary.
Our beloved Michael went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Michael was born on July 1, 1951, to Ricardo and Sofie Candelaria who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Samantha Sandoval; sister, Grace Sanchez; sister, Mallie Carino; and nephew, Pete Sanchez III. He is survived by his sons, Michael Sandoval and Richard Sandoval and wife, Rachael; and grandchildren, Richard II, Jeremy, Elias, and Mia. Other family members include brother, Richard Candelaria; and sisters, Theresa Alderete husband Ivan, Christina Millburn husband, Chris, Anna Aragon and husband, Ralph, Sandra Cordova and husband, Eugene; brother, David Candelaria, brother-in-law, Pete Sanchez II, Lorraine & Henry Torres, Mary and Peter Harmon, Gloria Guerrero; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael loved his family, motorcycles, and eating at his favorite restaurant, Garcia's. He loved playing music, specifically the bass guitar, and was a long-time member of the local band "Red Wine." He loved to work with his hands and was very gifted when it came to building something from scratch, working on vehicles, or simply fixing a leak.

Michael was the kind of person that would drop anything to help anyone. In the remaining days of his life, Michael chose to surrender his life to Jesus and receive the gift of Salvation! He was a friend to all that knew him, and he will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Join us at his Celebration of Life on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Calvary Church Osuna, 4001 Osuna Rd. NE.
