Michael Sarli

Michael Sarli, age 70, passed away September 09, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital. He was born September 11, 1952 in Cleveland Heights. In 1958, he was placed at Apple Creek Developmental Center. Mickie then moved to New Life Home in Massillon in 1975 under the care of Jim Schneck. Over the years, Mickie attended West Stark and The Bridge. He lived a full life as a member of Massillon Baptist Temple and attended many Deaf Camps.
In 2015, Mike happily moved from Hanover Healthcare Center to Echoing Ridge and later their Keiner Home in Clinton. He worked at Echoing Connections where he loved staying productive by stuffing mailing envelopes.
Mike leaves behind childhood friends, Ron Carpenter and Robert L Haas Jr, and his guardian, Laura Haas of Canton, along with many staff and friends that adored his gentle spirit and were uplifted by his big smile.
A Celebration of Michael's life will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11:30am at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Visitation will be from 10a.m. until the time of the service. To leave messages of sympathy and support go to www.paquelet.com
