Michael S. Sarnie

Michael (Mike) Sarnie passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and unwavering dedication to his family. A devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Mike's greatest joy in life was the people he loved. He was always ready with a helping hand, a warm hug, or simply his presence when it was needed most.
Mike had a natural gift for storytelling and could strike up a conversation with anyone, always ready to share a cherished memory, offer words of wisdom, or reminisce about his favorite collector shows. His passion for collecting, especially Batman and other superhero memorabilia, was something he loved to share with those around him. A true craftsman at heart, Mike took great pride in his ability to build or fix anything, using his skills to help others whenever he could. Whether through his stories, his collections, or his craftsmanship, he found joy in connecting with people.
Mike's sudden passing leaves an immeasurable void, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Reena (Sobelman) Sarnie, and their daughter, Marissa. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces and nephews, Marc and Karen Sobelman, Nanci Cavarretta and her daughter, Marla Quinn, her husband Patrick and their children Lincoln, Rowan and Brooklyn, Remi and Gary Kuphal and their children Madison and Jason, the late Paul Sarnie, Richard Sarnie, Julie and Isaac Reed and their children Alijah and Aliyah.
Mike's love and generosity will be deeply missed.
Mike's funeral service will be held at 1:30PM, Friday, February 21,2025, at Schlossberg Family's Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton, with the interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
Shiva will be held at the home of Remi & Gary Kuphal of Franklin immediately following the burial.
