Not sure what to say?

I first came to know Mike through our shared love of our grandson, Aiden. I soon came to know him as the wonderful integrity filled person he was. Mike was smart, kind, funny, generous and compassionate to all. I saw his passion and dedication really shine through whenever he had the opportunity to spend time with 'the boy' as he lovingly called Aiden. The joy and camaraderie in their relationship was evident from the beginning. I believe they were never happier then when they were together....

He will be missed. He was a wonderful man who always made you feel like you were the only person in the room when you talk to him. I can remember so many holidays and visits where him and I would just stand there chatting away enjoying each other's company. He was always so wonderful to Aiden and to my other two boys.

I am delighted to be Aunt KK to Mike's grandson, Aiden. Our initial encounter took place at a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Mike. It was a distinctive experience for me, as it marked my first Italian-themed Thanksgiving. The evening's conversation and wine flowed seamlessly, creating a sense of familiarity, as if Mike and I had known each other for a lifetime. Mike's sincerity was evident, and his eyes sparkled with joy as he watched his three-year-old grandson play around the house.

When I think of him, I think of his smile - and his laugh. Whether he was poking fun at himself or you, you always had to join in laughing because he made everything joyful. To the man who adopted me into his family almost 3 decades ago, I love you. I didn't have the privilege of having a father who was a Dad...Mike Savoy will always be Dad to me and I am so honored to have been a part of his life.

The world lost a wonderful man on Dec 31, 2025. I only had the privilege of knowing Mike for a bit more than a quarter of a century. He is on my list of the top 5 good men in America due to being such an outstanding person. If you knew Mike, you couldn't help but love and admire him.

So sorry to read about Mikes passing. He was our cherished neighbor for many years. Tom and I always felt a sense of security knowing he was across the street. We will miss seeing him on his walks and hearing a horn honk as he drives by. Rest in Peace Mike and know you are missed.
