Michael Alan Sealy, 62, of Sims passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Pastor Cliff Lewin will officiate.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 11 – 12:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Michael was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather. He owned and operated Sealy Properties in Wilson and was on the board of commissioners for the town of Sims. When he wasn't helping clients with real estate transactions or at a town board meeting he enjoyed multiple hobbies, including collecting and restoring antiques, listening to vinyl records, and spending time in the outdoors hiking and relaxing with his family. Whether it was his family, friends, community or country he was always going above and beyond to help, provide, teach and mentor anyone in need.
Michael is survived by his sons, Ryan Sealy and wife, Brandi, Dustin Sealy, and Keenan Sealy; grandsons, Ethan Sealy, and Kason Sealy; father, Mel Sealy, and his brothers, Mark Sealy and wife, Cathy, and Ray Sealy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janeen Carter Sealy.
