Michael Gene Sinnott

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Gene Sinnott "Beaver", who left us on January 20, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on August 25, 1960, in Tallahassee, Florida, Beaver was a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He spent much of his life in Perry, where he created memories that will forever warm our hearts.
Beaver was a dedicated train operator at Georgia-Pacific, a role he took pride in for many years. He found joy in the simple things-whether it was casting a line into the water or setting off on a boat adventure, he loved spending time outdoors. Many of us remember him as someone who thrived on exploring and soaking in the beauty of the mountains, always in search of the next great view or experience.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Jean Sinnott.
Beaver is survived by his loving daughters, Debra Mims (Mitchell), Samantha Sinnott, and Tabitha Gray ; his son, Michael Sinnott; two brothers, Gene Sinnott and Edward Sinnott; his grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Each of them carries a piece of his spirit and a wealth of memories that will continue to inspire and comfort them.
