Michael McHugh Siverling, 83, of Rochester, MN, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16th at Cottagewood Senior Communities in Rochester.
Michael was born in St. Paul, MN, on February 9th,1941. He was the son of Donald and Alice (McHugh) Siverling and was raised in Richfield, MN.
Michael worked at IBM as an Electrical Engineer and had many great accomplishments during his time there. He was an active member of the Rochester Kawanis Club and the Civil Air Patrol.
Michael was a member of Pax Christie church and enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. He also enjoyed singing with many other local organizations and was a talented musician. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time in nature doing activities such as fishing, skiing and hiking.
He is survived by his children Richard Siverling, Alicia Morarie (Siverling) and Colleen Siverling as well as his five grandchildren and his sister Liza Siler (Siverling). He was proceeded in death by his parents Donald Siverling and Alice Siverling.
A small, private memorial was held for his family at Ranfranz Funeral Home in Rochester, MN. Any memorials can be donated to Meals on Wheels in Rochester.
