Dear Michael,
We will miss our long talks about history, conspiracies, hunting stories, the laughs and the tears. Hearing the excitement in your voice when you spoke about playing on the grand stage of Whiskey A Go Go. Standing on that stage where your idols have stood before you. How proud we were of you and excited that your dreams were coming true.
What we will miss most Mike, is you. Your smile, your laugh, your quick wit, your ability to sell ice to Eskimos, to call everyone your friend and your music.
We hope the saints, sinners and freaks enjoy our family guitarist rockstar on his final stage now that the lights have come down on your short life. With you gone it feels like an intricate part of us is missing.
Hug all of our loved ones that are with you and tell them we love them, except Jim, kick him in the shin for me. (Pete)
