Michael Smith Obituary
Born in Lancaster, Kentucky to the late Marion and Edith Owen Smith, Mike played the guitar, and during the 1970's and 1980's, he opened for the legendary Conway Twitty and George Jones. Along with his wife Brenda, they own and operate the Mayberry Diner in Cross Hill.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepson, Matthew Pritchett; a sister, Gaylene Smith (Dan Williams); a nephew, Jeremy Skeens (Dayla); and numerous great nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life service planned by the family at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Laurens County Humane Society, 793 Poplar Street, Clinton, SC 29325.

I did not get too meet MIKE, but he always made you comfortable by playing the music he loved as well as his radio family. May, GOD welcome you into HIS KINGDOM. GOD please bless his family.
