Michael Gordon Smith

Michael Gordon Smith, 71, of Downtown Milton, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 7th, 2026.

Mike was born on August 24, 1954, in Milton Fl. He graduated from Milton High School in 1972. Mike was the second of three children born to Dudley and Gladys Smith. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to be in the woods or on the water.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Dudley and Gladys, his younger brother Richard, and several labradors that he deeply loved.

He is survived by his sister Sharon (Allen) Rigby; his daughter Micah (Scott) Wyrosdick of Enterprise Alabama; his son Tater (Julie) Smith of Holley Florida; 5 grandchildren; Sonny, Savannah and Weston Wyrosdick; Lyla and Cooper Smith; 2 nieces Stacie and Autumn (Emma and Trey).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Lewis Funeral Home Milton Chapel, 6405 Highway 90 West, Milton, Florida 32570, with visitation at 11:00-12:00 p.m. and service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Serenity Gardens.

We would like to thank the staff at Fresenius Kidney care in Milton, and the drivers and staff with Area Transportation of Santa Rosa County for the care and compassion that they showed Mike these last few months.
