Mick was without doubt one of our most unforgettable people, a model and example for all. We deeply regret that due to contagious illness we are unable to be with you in this time of grief.

I was so sorry to learn of Mick's illness and death. I send deepest condolences to his family. Mick was often the cop on duty after school, where I worked at the Wadsworth Library. I grew to know him as a dedicated, kind, even-handed and diplomatic person. He knew the kids and they knew him. His thoughtful style provided us with more than a few Mayberry moments over the years. It was an honor to know him. He will certainly be missed.
