Mike Sommer and Sheryl

Mike and Ruby were best buddies and they walked to the gas station to get coffee and share a donut every morning. Now Jane has a new best buddy Ellie who gets the zoomies and snuggles up to her in bed. Mike is missed every day but Jane with the help of good friends has continued the cabin project from where Mike left off. This past year she has accomplished much and done so with hard work and usually a smile and a laugh. Thanks to all that have helped her out by taking her out to eat, gone to shop with her, chopped down dead trees and helped her get firewood split and stacked, taken care of Ellie when she needed and in a million different ways helped her keep moving forward and adjusting to her new life. Together she and Mike were exceptional and Jane remains exceptional with her best friend Ellie at her side. Mike would be very proud of her. Sheryl and Mike

Mike & Sheryl

We met Mike when he helped us inflate our hot air balloon in St. Cloud for Re/Max Results. Afterwards we took him out for breakfast and immediately liked him. We swapped Harley trip stories, ballooning stories and he told us all about the Nest and of course Jane. Over the years we took them both to balloon events and saw them almost every Wednesday when we went to St. Cloud to fly over Lake George. We also spent time with them at the Nest, our home on Jessie lake and eventually when they moved up to Longville. He and Jane had a vision for their lake home and he worked tirelessly on it for years. He did beautiful woodwork and had an artistic way to build his project. Just like Jane and her quilting he would use different woods mixed together resulting in something beautiful. He and Jane lived a full fun life and we loved being around them. We´re sure he´s riding his Harley in Heaven and volunteering to help someone.
