Michael F. Spengler

Michael Fredrick Spengler passed away on July 28, 2025, at HCA Tomball hospital at the age of 76. He was born November 8, 1948, to parents Kenneth and Lillian (Kephart) Spengler. Preceded in death by Grandson Joshua Michael Baliukonis.

He leaves his wife of 45 years, Debora Spengler, his daughter Amy Renolds, Son Peter Baliukonis, Daughter Rachel Baliukonis, Daughter Renea Anderson, Grandchildren Katelynd, Richard Reynolds, Kasper Baliukonis, Winter Baliukonis, Pamela Morales, Nicole Morales, Alondra Morales, Isabella Baliukonis, Abraham Baliukonis, Jeremiah Baliukonis, Emma Kearbey, Sarah Grace, Benjamin Pugh, Shannon Radden, Elizabeth Anderson, Nathaniel Anderson, 9 great grandchildren, and Nephew Thomas Jones.

He was born in Seattle Washington and raised in Portland Oregon. At the age of 17 he joined the Marine Corps and was sent to Vietnam shortly after. (An event that effected the rest of his life.) He met his wife Debora on August 3, 1978, and was married on August 3, 1980. He worked many jobs over the years from sales to construction. At the age of 61, he obtained his GED to fulfill a promise he made to his mother when he dropped out and went into the Marines. He was the keynote speaker at the graduation ceremony.

He loved all sports, car racing, football, but his favorite was playing Golf. He worked at many golf courses over the years just so he could play free golf. He was a people person and could make a conversation with anyone at any time.

Mike was a lovable, stubborn, headstrong, dependable and loving person. He loved his family whether blood or blended, and they loved him back.
