About
Michael Stepp Obituary
Mike retired after 30 years from the Michigan Department of Corrections where he worked as a Lieutenant. He was a lifelong Detroit Tiger and Lions fan, and an avid baseball fan in general. He and his wife, Lori spent many days at the ballpark together.
In his younger years, Mike played baseball, football, and softball and also enjoyed biking.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Vernon L. Stepp Sr.; mother, Wilma Alice Anderson; sister, Loretta K. Rankin; and brother, Timothy E. Stepp.
He is survived by his wife and life partner, Lori Stepp; son, Michael D. (Brandi) Stepp Jr.; brother, Vernon L. (Lynnette) Stepp Jr.; 7 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins; special cousins, Galen Stepp and Michelle Criss; aunts and uncles, Hershel and Sue Stepp, George and Melba Treadway, Gene Hammon, and Dwight and Ann Criss.
Per Mike's request cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
