Michael Stringini, 83, of Freeport, Illinois, and formerly of Schaumburg, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 11, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Michaels Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 800 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg.

Michael was born on November 16, 1941, in Aurora, Illinois, to the late Sam and Marjorie (Came) Stringini. He grew up in Chicago, later lived in Elmhurst for several decades, and eventually making his home in Schaumburg before moving to Freeport ten years ago.

Michael was the youngest of two siblings. He devoted much of his life to being a loving and dedicated father, as well as a faithful believer in our Lord Jesus Christ. He had a deep love for his children and grandchildren, and his passion for music was shared and cherished by all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his children, daughter Dawn (Richard Lee), daughter Michelle Hansen and her children, Tyler (Sammi), Hunter, Kennedy, Grant, and Jake, son Michael and his children, Michael (Shannon), Matthew, Ashley, Alexandra, Mitchell, Amanda, Mason, and Mark, son, Paul (Katie), and their children: Caleb (Jamie), Jared, Derrick, Gene, Lynn, Micah, Isaac, and Settimio, and son, Frank (Jessica).

He was also blessed with many great-grandchildren: Amelia, Anna, Kylie, Lilliana, Raphaella, Addison, Seraphina, Ezra, Gabriel, Kendall, Levi, Malachi's, Jon, Marjorie, Grace, Evelyn, Ambrose, Silas, and Easton.

Michael was a good man who touched many lives, and he will be deeply missed. He now rests in the arms of the Lord
