Michael Alan Summerhill, 63, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, September 11, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Michael was born on July 3, 1962, in Kingsville, Texas, to Harvey Summerhill and Ruth (Johnston) Summerhill. He began working at 15 years old, working as a drywall finisher. Michael was very talented in his career and was often pursued by contractors in his trade.
Michael lived his life to his own terms and had a way of touching the lives of the ones that he loved. He was kind and would give anything to anyone in need. Michael was the type of guy that was willing to give anyone a chance.In his free time, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends at the bar, playing cards, and playing darts. He enjoyed 80s music and was very musically aware. He also enjoyed watching sci-fi shows such as Star Trek and Star Wars. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents: Harvey and Ruth Summerhill.
Those left to cherish the memory of Michael include his brother: Charles H. Summerhill of Escondido, California; his sister: Elizabeth Summerhill of Cold Springs, Minnesota: his nieces: Melissa Davis of Sapulpa, OK, Becky, and Amanda; his nephews: Lynn, Randy, and Little Charlie, along with other family members and many friends.
A Celebration of Life for Michael will be held at the Westside Pub, 1840 SW Frank Phillips Blvd in Bartlesville on Friday, September 19, 2025, starting at 7:30 PM. All the proceeds raised for the fundraiser/pool tournament will go towards Michael’s final expenses.
